What We Do

We help those in need in some of the most dire areas. We serve the Haitian people in the Dominican Republic. Many of these people are without basic needs of food, water, clothes and medicine.

Why We Do It

Jesus said, “For I was hungry and you gave me something to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink, I was a stranger and you invited me in, I needed clothes and you clothed me, I was sick and you looked after me, I was in prison and you came to visit me” (Matthew 25:35,36).

How We Do It

We currently partner with local churches within communities that are in need. Other areas outside these communities: such as the Sugarcane fields receive little assistance without help.

Food Distribution

Giving For His Glory continues to provide food distribution to areas in need. Most recent areas are the sugar cane fields where Haitian migrant workers reside.

Medical Supplies

Giving For His Glory has identified medical needs in some of Haitian communities. One such need is the prevention of Scabies. This is a parasitic problem often found in young children. Fortunately medication can be distributed and education given to parent to help their children.

Supporting the Local Church

Giving For His Glory continues to partner with local churches in the city of Higuey and the village of Defiance. Much of this support has been in new construction and remodeling of the church’s sanctuaries.

Providing Individual Needs

Since Giving For His Glory began personal relationships has been the bridge for ministry. Our non-profit continues to focus on the long term needs of individuals needing care from medical specialists. Operations, special medications and those even need help with housing costs has been a hallmark of our mission.

Supporting Families

Much of the support Giving For His Glory provides is helping local families in Haitian communities. Many families need short term help with food insecurity and clothes. Simple acts of support such as these help maintain family stability and foster a healthy home environment.
